This summer’s Wilden Creativity Festival promises an abundance of fun, special treats and inspiration!
All proceeds of the event go to the Blenk Family Fund for youth mental health.
There’s a lot of talent living in Wilden. Come visit our unique little artisan market in and around the Wilden Presentation Centre.
For kids creativity is a natural part of everyday life. We will give them lots of freedom to let it all out and express themselves. All ages welcome!
Food & Drink Tastings
Kelowna’s culinary scene never runs out of ideas. Come and get a taste of what’s new! There will be free tastings as well as food stands selling their creations.
Live Music and a Public Voting for the Best Dog Photography
Our neighbours Kim Morgan and Chris Keeley will share the stage with other amazing musicians living in Wilden
The best entries into the #WildKelowna photo contest Dogs of the Okanagan will be on display. The winner will be chosen in a public voting and announced by the end of the day.

Entouquet is the Art and Design team of Chrissy Jones and Lisa Oehler. Chrissy and Lisa were brought together because of their love for materials. Their collaborative practice has since evolved into objects for the wall.

Shanti & Nelson bandanas are made from up-cycled fabrics and inspired by two Oreo blizzard Border Collie- Aussie Sheps; Shanti and Nelson.

Create Marbling Co.
Create Marbling Co. uses the traditional art of water marbling to create a one of a kind art experience suitable for all ages and all artistic talents. With our assistance and guidance, everyone gets to select their paint and manipulate their image in the water before printing it onto a 72” silk scarf.
My medium of choice is oils. I love how forgiving they are to work with and the there is no mistaking the beautiful texture and sheen in the end product… and probably the fact that my grandmother was an oil painter has something to do with my attraction to oils.
I primarily paint realism. I fell in love with the history of painting dating way back to the 15th century. I love to learn about the roads artist before us travelled on their artistic journey; much different that us today!
For the last 2.5 years I have taken 3 day workshop monthly with Gene Prokop. He is an artist and has an art school in Edmonton. Gene left his home in Edmonton at 19 to go school and study the “Masters” in Europe. I feel privileged to be learning from him.

Chocolate from the OC Culinary Arts Department
Okanagan College is the first post-secondary institution outside of Europe to create their own chocolate recipes. Chef Danny Capadouca, one of the two creators of the chocolates will be at the event to sample their treats and tell you more about them as well as the culinary arts program itself.
